How would you define, or how can you achieve “Life-Long optimum health”?

The proof of the pudding: Telomere research

Telomeres are elongations at the tips of your chromosomes; some researchers compare them to the plastic tips at the end of your shoelaces. Longest at time of birth, telomeres  get shorter with age, but this process is not fixed; good health practices (including some supplements) lengthen telomeres, and faulty one shorten telomeres. Scientists have developed a blood test to measure telomere length and remaining life potential. Throughout the book factors are pointed out that lengthen or shorten telomeres.
